Behavior Consultation Services Offered
Animal Behavior
Networks (ABN) Family Membership $ 29.
As an affiliate professional trainer with ABN, I can offer you this
online service for a lower price than what it's offered for
directly. The membership includes:
• The Library: over 150 behavior topics, Video's, and Self-Sudies
for dogs and cats – explanations, practical tips and step-by-step
training help; e.g. puppy socialization checklist, close tethering,
feline hyperactivity, pets and children,... .
• The Pet Parenting Program: over 40 topics brought to your home via
weekly emails. You can choose between the IdealDog™ program or
topics for cats.
• The PetEthogram: your pet's online behavior file. You fill out the
pet's history, I'll add my suggestions for the behavior modification
(consultation only), and you decide if you'd like to send this
information to your veterinarian, the breeder, another behavior
specialist, or just keep it for yourself to track the behavioral
changes in your dog.
• A network of behaviorists which can assist you by reviewing your
pet's history (the PetEthogram), contacting and working together
with your veterinarian and giving you advice for your specific case.
Behavior Triage $ 149.
The Behavior Triage offers the evaluation of your pet's behavior,
discussing the possibilities for the best outcome and talking about
estimated costs. You'll be signed up for the ABN membership and
asked to fill out the PetEthogram. After reviewing your pets
history, I'll evaluate your case either by phone or as an in-home
visit. This service doesn't include recommendations on how to treat
any problem behaviors.
Behavior Treatment Consultation $ 249
The Behavior Consultation includes the ABN membership, the review of
your pet's history (the online PetEthogram), the consultation and a
written diagnosis and treatment protocol (part of the PetEthogram).
We'll also stay in touch by phone or email for about 4 weeks after
the consultation, to monitor your progress. The consultation can be
done either over the phone or as one in-home visit of about 1˝ hrs.
Pricing and Payment Policies
No Guarantee of
Behavioral Improvement.
Note there is no guarantee of behavioral improvement, since there
are many factors that influence the success rate. The client is
purchasing professional time for analysis, opinion and
recommendations.
Client Satisfaction Guarantee
Although we cannot guarantee behavioral results, we can guarantee
Client Service Satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with the
service provided, you may mail us your concerns describing the
circumstances, and receive a refund. We must receive your request
within 30 days after the day of consultation. After that no refunds
are available. The costs for online services are non-refundable ($29
for ABN Family Membership).
Phone Conference
The client is responsible for the cost of long-distance phone calls.
In Home Visits
The cost for the in-home visit is included within the Palmer -
Wasilla - Big Lake area. For visits to the Chugiak - Eagle River -
Anchorage area or Willow, please add $20. For visits beyond that
range, e.g. Girdwood or Talkeetna, please contact me by phone or
email.
The consultation will take place only after full payment is
received.
Please be aware that some cases may inquire further expenses:
Referral to veterinarian for medical tests needed
Referral to veterinarian for medication indicated
Need for obedience training / socialization classes
Need for behavioral products requested for behavior therapy
