We will try to work one dog at a time with my neutral dog first before grouping you, allowing time for using the different tools and practicing different scenarios. This way, we will get a quick idea of each dog’s needs. Plan on leaving your dog in the car until your turn for this first part. That way, you can watch each dog and handler.
Once grouped, we’ll work with 1-2 dogs at a time, more if appropriate. You’ll learn to read your dog for early signs, to work your dog “below threshold”, and to handle “emergency” situations. Lots of “hands-on” practice for you and your dog. We’ll be working both indoors and outside, to practice ‘real-world’ situations.
This is a 6 hours plus lunch break workshop; with part of this session outdoors, rain or shine.
