Agility Workshop – “Jumping Jacks!”

“Jumping Jacks!”

Putting the fun back in the jumping! Dog/handler teams will mostly be able to work simultaneously at their jump(s), besides some exercises involving multiple obstacles (jumps and a tunnel or table). We'll show the dogs how much fun jumping is! No more going around the jump! We want the dog SEEKING the jump when we give the cue. Handlers will practice/learn different approaches to jumps and how to determine the angle at which your dog should take a jump for speed and success!

During the workshop: This is a 2-3 hour workshop. There may be times when we want to allow the dogs to rest while they’re waiting for their turn or while Claudia is explaining an exercise. It would be helpful to bring a crate if you have one (not essential) and a towel or light cover to keep the sun off the dogs since we will probably be outdoors, weather permitting. Water will be available for the dogs! Thank you!
